Well here we are all safe and sound in Mussoories after a lng fwed ays of airports buses and taxis. Left for Per ai[prpot sat 0300 on thursday, plane lfdt late at 0700 and we then had to pick up bags and check back in at KL. Ok for us for the Vietnam team nearly missed its plane.
630 Pm Friay we had a flight from Kl to DEL which went ok and the food on the plane was even reasonable. Landed Delhgi at 2130 with a HOT andHIOGH lanfding attempt that had the piulot using all the unway and all the brakes he had. Negotiated Indian Immigaration without incdient and then exited the airport t taxie to uor hotel.
Thsi was about 11pm ri and we finaly got b ed ( again) and midnite. So on the go for around 22 hours non stop. Hotel oOk and Friay spent recovering and eating in l;ocal cafes. An ok dsitrcit but not a lot to do but change money and wait.
Two taxis poicked us for Dera Duhn about 6pm and we had a over nigth car ride to Dera D. which was entertaining on Indian roads but we got there in one pieced and hen had to wait about 3 hours for 0300 for the firt bus. Fe wpeople car sick and one or two with upset tummyes by Sat. Bus u[p hill over in an hour and checked into HOTE DEEP. 3 days hewre and all shopuld be rested and recoverd, thouygh we have one sicie in bed at the moment. Nice and sunny and cool with clea iar away from DELHI.
Anotehr walk in the area tomorrow and then another night i thinjk before we bus over to Rissiskesh. Trust all well. Back in afew days.
